The venue hosts multiple tournaments and Portage recreational leagues during the summer. Nearby restroom facilities are available.
Lakeview Park
A nice park in the heart of Portage featuring 4 courts. Conveniently located just minutes from Ramona Park, offering an alternative if the courts are full or if you need a warm-up spot before a tournament. Bathroom facilities nearby. Free to play.
6th Street Park
6321 S. 6th Street, Kalamazoo MI
A fantastic facility featuring 8 pickleball courts, managed by Texas Township, located just west of Portage and Kalamazoo. Mornings and evenings are typically reserved for "bring your own group" play, while the courts are often wide open during midday. New bathroom facilities and a picnic pavilion will be completed Fall 2024. Free to play.

Small park in Portage with 2 lined tennis courts. You use the existing tennis court nets to play pickleball. Good spot for beginners to practice.

West Hills Athletic Club
Fitness center with indoor tennis courts, owned by Western Michigan University. Tennis courts freshly painted and lined for 8 pickleball courts, with portable nets. Great place to learn pickleball, and opportunity for drop-in play, ladder leagues, and tournaments.

Amazing new Charles & Lynn Zhang Portage Senior Community Center, with memberships available for seniors 50 and over.
The facility offers two indoor courts with permanent lines and portable nets. Clinics and leagues are available for players of all skill levels.
